Options Dialog Report (not available with the Free Viewer and in EXE files)
The reports can be customized for the output formats via the options.
The options dialog is displayed before creating report for PDF, RTF, HTML and JPG/BMP file formats.
Export Options for JPG and BMP
Export Options for PDF-Report
PDF is a platform-independent format for electronic documents.
When exporting to PDF, a window appears for setting the file to be exported.
Compressed
Compress the output file to reduce file size but increase export time.
Embedded fonts
All fonts used in the report are included in the PDF output file, allowing accurate display on computers that do not have the fonts, but increasing the size of the output file.
Background
The graphic associated with the page background is exported to a PDF file.
Print optimized
Output graphics at high resolution. This option is only needed if the document contains graphics and will be printed.
Transparency
JPG quality
Specifies the compression rate for JPEG.
Interactive Form
If you want to password-protect the PDF file, you can assign a password and set permissions on the Security tab.
Other document information and viewer settings can be set on the Information and Viewer tabs.
Export Options for RTF-Report
RTF was developed as a standard for exchanging text documents and is supported by many modern text editors and operating systems.
When exporting to RTF, a window is displayed for setting up the file to be exported.
Pictures
Enable the display of images for the RTF report.
WYSIWYG
The exact representation of the report displayed in the preview. If unchecked, an optimization is performed to reduce the number of columns and rows in the resulting file.
Page breaks
Enables page breaks in the RTF document.
Continuous
The document is exported as a continuous document with no page breaks and no headers or footers. This option is useful for large documents that are intended for further processing.
Page Header/Footer
- Text: Headers/footers are treated like normal text.
- Header/Footer: Creates headers and footers in the RTF document.
- None: No headers or footers are created in the report.
Open after export
After exporting, open the file using the default RTF viewer associated with your computer.
Export Options for HTML-Report
When exporting HTML, a window appears for setting the file to be exported.
Styles
Use design styles for exported text objects. Disabling them will speed up the export process, but the appearance will be worse.
All in one folder
All additional files will be saved in the same folder as the main file, not in a separate subfolder.
Page navigator
A special page navigator is created for faster navigation through the pages.
Fixed width
Maintain a fixed table width when resizing the window..
Multipage
Maintain a fixed table width when resizing the window.
Background
Export graphic attributes present on the page.
Pictures
Select the format for the displayed images.
Open after export
After exporting, open the file using the default program.
Export options for JPG und BMP
When saving as JPG or BMP via selection in Preview, a window for setting the file to be exported is displayed.
Separate files
Each page is exported as a separate file with the page number appended to the file name.
Monochrome
The report is saved in black and white.
Crop pages
The blank areas of the pages are cropped.
JPG quality
Specifies the compression rate for JPEG.
Resolution (dpi)
Sets the graphic resolution of the image at which it will be saved.
Open after export
After exporting, open the file using the default program.
